Chris Lund Trainer of the brilliant Flying Winner has his say....

"Without doubt, Dunham is the best schooling track in the country and it makes you wonder what we ever did without it!.

When you trial a dog there several times and each time it goes through the splits within half a length you just know that this is a professionally run, top class track.

We have it rammed down our throats about track surfaces and preparation, well go to Dunham to see how it should be done. I have not even had so much as a sandburn from all the dogs I have put round there.

It is the perfect place to bring dogs coming back from injury, always rigourously prepared and always safe...if your dog cant run Dunham it can't run anywhere"

Destroy The Camp

Destroy The Camp: Makes My Day

Destroy The Camp aka Freddie has been out of action since the 1st Rd of the Arc at the start of the year but he is on his way back fingers crossed. To see him have a trial, post a respectable time and come off in one piece was simply brilliant. We have won a few opens, even landed an open race treble but for me this was the highlight of the year. Freddie is not just a dog he is my best mate, he may be getting old "hey we all are" people may have wrote him off we have a long way to go before we prove any doubters wrong but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel and I will keep dreaming, keep hoping to see our flying brindle back on the track and running well!!!
